The ROI we have received justifies the expense to advertise on radio, and not to mention their other platforms they have to get your branding message broadcasted. We do a multitude of different advertising efforts, but radio is one of our more frequently used methods of getting our events announced. More people listen to radio than anything else. MicroLoan Express

No one listens to the radio anymore, too expensive, I will be throwing money away, it won’t make a difference, too much aggravation, I don’t have enough money to risk it”… these are all the things I would tell myself about advertising. After trying so many forms of advertising over the years and never getting a return on investment, I was very hesitant to spend any money for advertising when MicroLoan Express opened. In the past I had tried direct mail, email and text campaigns, newspaper inserts, magazines, billboards, radio and the list goes on. Everyone promised results, increased traffic, return on investment, bigger profits, etc., but there was nothing to show for it after spending all that money.

Of course, that did not stop Dewayne Malcom of iHeartMEDIA from coming to see me every week for almost three months. Dewayne would show up with a big smile and tell me how iHeartMEDIA could increase customer traffic and help me grown, but we were barely making a profit, so my mind was made up, “NO ADVERTISING”! Since business was slow, I had nothing better to do than talk to Dewayne and honestly started enjoying his visits, but no matter what he said I wouldn’t budge. He would show me all of his reports, different promotions and tell me every reason I should advertise with iHeartMEDIA and in return I would give every reason why I thought it was a bad idea and simply say no. Dewayne would leave with a discouraged smile, but I knew he would be back eventually. I was right, Dewayne showed up one day and when he walked in the door a radio commercial for MicroLoan Express was playing on his cell phone and with that, iHeartMEDIA won my business and our first radio advertising campaign launched in November 2016.

As much as I hate to admit I was wrong, I WAS WRONG about not advertising with iHeartMEDIA and should have done it the day we opened! As soon as our first commercial ran on the air, our telephones started ringing and after almost a year and half later, our phones still ring every time our radio commercials play with iHeartMEDIA. We track how our customers heard about us via our customer application and computer software. As you can see by the chart below 26.96% of our business has directly been related to advertising with iHeartMEDIA, coming in second to only to our physical location and walk in traffic. The 26.96% additional customers has given us an ROI (return on investment) of 493.34%! So for every $100.00 we spend with iHeartMEDIA on advertising, we are gaining $493.34 in additional revenue and approximately half of that is hitting our bottom line as PROFIT!!! You may also notice that we have done radio advertising with 2 competing radio broadcasters (company names have been concealed for privacy) with nowhere near the same results.

Their customer service is world class and the entire team is filled with extremely talented people who are at the top of their game, down to earth, positive and work hard to ensure they are giving us the results we expect and need to thrive. Best of all, iHeartMEDIA tracks their results and if something is not living up to their expectations they contact me and make any changes needed to have a successful campaign. When it comes to radio and digital advertising iHeartMEDIA will continue to be my first and only choice.
